Chocolate Cup Cakes

Ingredients to make Chocolate Cup Cakes

  • 1 cup maida
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup malai( fresh cream)
  • 1/4 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 90% of 1 cup milk powder
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Frosting
  • 1 cup non dairy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence

How to make Chocolate Cup Cakes

  1. Add cream and sugar and beat until creamy
  2. Seive maida with milk powder, baking powder, cocoa powder and soda
  3. Fold in sieved dry ingredients alternatively with milk
  4. Add essence and beat well
  5. Pour into the cup cakes moulds with paper liners into it, and bake at 180°c for 25 minutes or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
  6. When done transfer onto wire rack and let it cool down completely before frosting
  7. Frosting
  8. Melt the chocolate in microwave or using double boiler method and let it cool a little
  9. Whip the cream until soft peaks achieved
  10. Add vanilla essence and slowly add cooled melted chocolate from sides.
  11. Again whip until stiff peaks
  12. Pour into pipping bag with choice of nozzle(I used an open star nozzle) and frost the cupcakes
  13. Mouth watering chocolate cup cakes are ready for indulgence
