#Moong dal pancake

Ingredients to make #Moong dal pancake

  • moong dal 1 cup
  • Whole green gram sprouts 1 cup
  • cottage cheese 150 gms
  • salt to taste
  • baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • ginger 1 inch
  • green chillies 2 to 4
  • ghee as required
  • Green coriander 1 tbsp

How to make #Moong dal pancake

  1. Soak moong dal for 5 hours.
  2. Grind with ginger and green chillies to get a thick batter.
  3. Remove to a bowl. Season with salt. Add chopped green coriander and 1/4 tsp baking soda.
  4. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  5. Steam sprouts till soft.
  6. Season with salt and red chilli powder.
  7. Grate cottage cheese and season with salt and black pepper .
  8. Heat a non stick pan. Grease with ghee.
  9. Pour a ladle full of moong dal batter. Do not spread.
  10. Keep the flame on sim.
  11. Put 1 tbsp sprouts over dal pancake and top with grated cottage cheese.
  12. Drizzle ghee around and over the pancake.
  13. Let it cook on sim for 2 to 3 minutes.
  14. Flip carefully, drizzle little ghee around and cook for 1 more minute.
  15. Your pancake is ready. Prepare all the same way. Serve hot with ketchup and green chutney.
