Eggless hidden chocolaty flower custard cake

ABOUT Eggless hidden chocolaty flower custard cake RECIPE

Cake baked with two of my favourite flavours, combination of custard and chocolate makes it heavenly.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. For Chocolate Cake-
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 3/4 cup grind sugar
  4. 1/4 cup oil
  5. 3/4 cup water
  6. 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  7. 3/4 spoon vinegar
  8. 1 tsp Baking powder
  9. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  10. For custard cake-
  11. 1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  12. 1 cup sugar
  13. 1/2 cup oil
  14. 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
  15. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  16. 1 cup curd
  17. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  18. 3-4 tsp custard powder
  19. 1 tb sp milk

Instructions

  1. Chocolate cake- mix all the wet ingredients in a bowl and keep it aside .
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and pour the wet mixture on it.
  3. Whisk all the ingredients well till the batter is smooth in texture.
  4. Pour the batter in a greased baking tin and bake it in preheated oven for 170c for 25-30 minutes
  5. Let it cool on wire rack.
  6. Slice it and cut flowers from each slice with the help of cookie cutter and keep aside.
  7. For custard cake Take 1 & 1/2 cup of maida, sieve it 3 times, keep aside.
  8. In a bowl add curd and beat it.mix sugar in it then add baking powder and baking soda. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes,it becomes frothy.
  9. Now add oil and vanilla essence mix it.
  10. Make paste of custard powder with the help of little milk.
  11. Pour it in curd mix.mix well
  12. Add maida into this wet mixture and mix well
  13. Now pour half batter in greased loaf pan.
  14. Keep flowers piece on it make a full line together in loaf pan.
  15. Pour rest half batter on it sprinkle some dry fruit over it and bake it in pre heated oven for 30-35 minutes
  16. Cool on wire rack.
  17. Cut slices and enjoy beautiful two flavours cake.
