ABOUT Egg Drop Ginger Soup RECIPE

This Chinese soup does wonder for you when you have sour throat...a sip of this soup soothens your throat.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ginger:- 1 medium size 2 inch:- chopped finely or grated
  2. Egg-2 whisk well and keep aside
  3. Chicken stock or maggie chicken cubes
  4. Spring onion :- chopped finely
  5. Turmeric:- 1tsp(optional) you can do this when you have sore throat
  6. Olive oil:- 1 tbsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black pepper
  9. Corn flour:- 1 tbsp optional( I have not added in this soup)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a big pot, add grated ginger and boil for sometime add chicken stock, corn flour mix with water and add to boiling soup (if using), chopped spring onion,turmeric, black pepper and salt...boil for sometime.
  2. Start adding whisk egg slowly to the soup but stir continuously from other hand to form a thread from egg.
  3. Pour little olive oil if you wish to but this taste just wow without olive oil also.
  4. Serve Hot.
