Ingredients to make Sabudana khichdi (Navratra special)

  • sabudana 50g (soaked for 2 hrs.)
  • potato 1 large (cut in to cubes)
  • onion 1 med. (chopped)
  • Green coriander 3 tsp (chopped)
  • lemon juice 3 tsp
  • Green chilli 2 (cut)
  • curry leaves 15- 20
  • Roasted peanuts 1/2 cup (coarsely grind)
  • cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Pure ghee 4 tsp
  • oil 2Tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Sabudana khichdi (Navratra special)

  1. 1. Soak sabudana for 2 hrs.
  2. 2. Take a wok heat oil, put cumin and potato fry them.
  3. 3.Add onion , green chillies, curry leaves and cook for 2 min. with covered lid.
  4. 4. Add red chilli powder,sugar,pure ghee,some water and cook for 2 min.
  5. 5. Add roasted peanuts sabudana, coriander leaves,lemon juice, and desi ghee cook for 2-3 min.
  6. 6. Your mouthwatering delicious sabudana khichdi is ready.

My Tip:

Soak sabudana for 2 hr, use raw potato and roasted peanuts.
