Ingredients to make Chocolate Loaf Cake

  • Dry ingredients -
  • flour 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp
  • baking soda 1 Tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Cocoa powder 1/3 cup
  • For egg mixture-
  • egg 1
  • Milk 1 1/3 cup
  • For butter mix-
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • Chocolate chips 1/4 cup
  • sugar 1 1/2 cup
  • butter for greasing

How to make Chocolate Loaf Cake

  1. In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, baking powder and soda, mix and keep aside.
  2. In another bowl, add butter and microwave for 30 sec, then add choco chip in butter and microwave again for 20 sec then mix together with whisker until the choco chips have melted. Keep aside.
  3. In another bowl, add milk, egg and whisk together now in the dry ingredients bowl, add melted butter mixture and mix all together with the help of spatula. Now add little egg mix in the batter and mix, repeat the same 2 times. Now mix all together with spatula make sure no lumps are formed.
  4. Now in your baking tray pour the batter and bake for 200 degree for 1 hour.
  5. Once cool down cut it and enjoy it.

My Tip:

This is the basic cake, you can make ganache and buttercream frosting and simply decorate it.
