Ingredients to make Diamond Cuts (tukdi)

  • maida 1 cup
  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • jeera 2 tsp
  • Chopped curry leaves - a few
  • hing - as per your taste
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Diamond Cuts (tukdi)

  1. Mix all the ingredients and knead into a hard dough. Add about 1 tbsp of hot oil to this dough and knead well and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Roll them into bigger and thin chapatis. Cut them into diamond shapes with the help of a sharp knife.
