Shakarkandi Tikki Chaat

Ingredients to make Shakarkandi Tikki Chaat

  • 2 sweet potato (shakarkandi) boiled
  • 3 medium size boiled and mashed pototo
  • 1/2 cup crumbled paneer (cottage chease)
  • 3 tbsp sama rice flour
  • rock salt as per taste
  • 1/2 tbsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tbsp red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tbsp chopped green chilly
  • One spoon lemon juice (optional)
  • oil for frying
  • For garnishing:
  • Two cup curd
  • 1 cup tamarid chutney
  • Green chutney (optional)
  • 2 tbsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 spoon kashmiri red chilly
  • Vrat namkeen (optional)

How to make Shakarkandi Tikki Chaat

  1. Mix all above ingredients except oil together and make a dough.
  2. Make balls and give them tikki shape.
  3. Fry all the tikki on medium flame till golden brown colour.
  4. Arrange tikki on a plate a and put curd, chutney, cumin powder chilly or namkeen.

My Tip:

You can also soak sago instead of sama rice.
