Ingredients to make Chenna Rolls

  • Home made paneer 1 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • pista for garnish
  • Green colour for garnish
  • coconut powder 1/2 cup

How to make Chenna Rolls

  1. Take 1 litre milk. Add lemon juice. The milk will curdle. Strain.
  2. Pour water on it.
  3. Knead it till it smoothens.
  4. Make balls.
  5. Sugar syrup - Take 3 cup water in cooker. Add 1 cup sugar, cook till it melts.
  6. Now put balls in the syrup. Cook this for 1 whistle. Then simmer for 3 minutes.
  7. Open the cooker. Let it cool.
  8. Roll on coconut powder.
  9. Garnish with pista and cardamom powder.

My Tip:

Lot of kneading of the paneer is required.
