ABOUT Petha Mawa Sticks RECIPE

Petha Sticks are prepared by combining petha, mawa and cashew powder. You can serve these super delicious mawa petha sticks during fasting days as well.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Petha 200 grams
  2. Mawa 200 grams (1 cup)
  3. Green cardamom 1/2 tsp
  4. Cashews pwd 3-4 tbsp
  5. Desiccated coconut 1/3 cup
  6. Saffron water and colour (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, grate the petha with a grater. Add cashews and Cardamom powder.
  2. Start with roasting the mawa in hot pan by stirring rigorously till a slight colour change is there. Turn off the flame and transfer it on a plate. Add petha, cashews and green cardamom to the luke warm mawa and mix everything really well.
  3. Prepare sticks with desired size from the mixture and dust them evenly with desiccated coconut and plate on a serving plate. Petha Mawa Sticks are ready to serve.
  4. Garnish these divine petha sticks with some strawberry puree and serve them as a dessert or during fasting.
