Moong Dal Dosa

Ingredients to make Moong Dal Dosa

  • moong dal - 1 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • green chillies 4
  • hing a pinch
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required
  • butter as required

How to make Moong Dal Dosa

  1. Soak moong dal in water for 2 hours. Grind with grated coconut. Add salt while grinding. The consistency should be that of dosa batter.
  2. After grinding, add finely chopped green chillies and hing to the batter and mix well. No need to ferment the batter.
  3. Heat a tava. Drizzle a few drops of oil and pour a ladle full of batter and rotate the ladle in circular motion.
  4. Add little butter on top of the dosa and flip it.
  5. Serve hot with green chutney.
