ABOUT Moong urad dosa RECIPE

Tasty and nutritious dosa. The batter needs no fermentation. Ideal for complete breakfast especially for kids.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Moond dal - 1 cup
  2. Urad dal - 1/2 cup
  3. Green Chillies - 2
  4. Asafoetida/ hing - 1 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil for frying dosa

Instructions

  1. Soak moong dal and urad dal together for 2 hours. Grind to a smooth batter.
  2. Transfer the batter to a bowl. Add salt, asafoetida and chopped green chillies.
  3. Heat a tawa. Drizzle a few drops of oil.
  4. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread a little. Close the lid keeping the flame low.
  5. Now flip the other side of the dosa and roast well.
  6. Serve hot with coriander chutney or butter.
