Steamed hilsha fish with chopped ash gourd leaves

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Hilsha fish 6 pcs.
  2. Turmaric powder 1/2 tsp
  3. salt as per taste
  4. MUSTARD PASTE 2TBSP
  5. Chopped ash gourd leaf 1/2 cup
  6. Green chili paste 2 tsp
  7. Mustard oil 4tbsp
  8. Poppy seed paste 2tbsp

Instructions

  1. Marinade the fish pieces with turmeric powder and salt. Leave it for 5min.
  2. Take a bowl. Add mustard paste, green chili paste, poppy seed paste, chopped ash gourd leaves, salt, mustard oil and mix it properly.
  3. Add the marinated fish pieces to this mixture.
  4. Steam for 30 mins in a low flame.
  5. Serve with steamed rice.
