Rawa ladoo / Sooji Ladoo

Ingredients to make Rawa ladoo / Sooji Ladoo

  • sooji 1 1/2 Cups
  • powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  • cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • Warm Milk 3-4 Tablespoons
  • ghee 1/4 cup
  • Rasins Handful

How to make Rawa ladoo / Sooji Ladoo

  1. Dry roast suji or rawa on medium heat till nice and fragrant. Don’t allow it to burn. Remove on a wide plate and allow to cool for about 5 minutes.
  2. Once sooji is cooled ,  cardamom powder , golden raisins and sugar .
  3. Mix well. Heat ghee in microwave or on stovetop till it is nice and warm.
  4. Pour it over the sooji mixture and mix well.
  5. Add in warm milk and start mixing.
  6. You will now get the binding consistency mixture. Start shaping up into ladoos.
  7. If you feel that the mixture is too dry to shape, add a teaspoon of milk at a time and continue .
  8. Store them in airtight container.

My Tip:

Better to consume them within 2-3 days or refrigerate for upto 7-8 days.
