Ingredients to make Moong dal ka seera

  • 1 cup yellow moong dal soaked overnight
  • sugar according to taste
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 lt milk boiled
  • 1 cup ghee
  • Pinch of elachi pd

How to make Moong dal ka seera

  1. Soak the yellow moong dal overnight
  2. Next day drain the water out an pat dry it
  3. Grind into paste by adding little water
  4. Then in a thick bottom vessel add ghee, fry the grinded moong dal in low flame
  5. Keep stirring till golden brown in color ,
  6. Then add elachi pd an few chopped almonds an mix well
  7. Then add sugar , milk an keep stirring till it becomes thick an starts to leave the sides
  8. Then serve in a bowl garnish it with chopped almonds

My Tip:

If u wish to add cashewnuts , pistachio u can add . In place of sugar u want u cn add sugar free pd .
