Ingredients to make Saboo dhana kheer

  • 1 bowl saboo dhana soaked overnight
  • sugar according to taste
  • 1 lt milk
  • 1tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup chopped dry fruits ( almonds, cashew nuts, pistachio )
  • Pinch of elachi pd
  • Pinch of orange color optional
  • few strands of kesar

How to make Saboo dhana kheer

  1. Drain the water out completely from the saboo dhana
  2. In a thick bottom vessel add ghee, fry the saboo dhana for sometime
  3. Then add chopped dry fruits
  4. Mix well. Then add milk , an keep stirring
  5. Then add sugar, kesar, elachi pd
  6. Keep stirring. If u want to add color u add . Then off the gas
  7. Serve in a bowl

My Tip:

U can make different types of kheer . If u want to add color u can add or else u can have it plain white
