White Chocolate Kalakand

Ingredients to make White Chocolate Kalakand

  • 1 cupfreshly made Paneercrumbled
  • 3/4 cup milk powder
  • 50g compound white chocolate
  • Granulated sugar as per taste(I added 3 heap tbsp)
  • Chopped nuts for topping(I have only used almonds)
  • 1/4 tsp cadomom powder
  • 2tsp melted ghee

How to make White Chocolate Kalakand

  1. Mix Paneer, milk powder, sugar and white chocolate.
  2. Cook on a nonstick pan with 1 TSP ghee. Stir continually to avoid sticking or roasting.
  3. Meanwhile grease a pan to set the kalakand with remaining ghee.
  4. After about 10 min it will start to thicken up and oil will be bubbling on the sided. Add cardomom powder. Mix.
  5. Immediately transfer to the greased pan and press it evenly with the back of a spoon.
  6. Top with nuts. Press them down gently so that they stick to kalakand.
  7. Leave it to rest. Once cooled refrigerate for 2hours at least.
  8. Serve & Enjoy!!

My Tip:

1. You can adjust the sweetness as per your taste. 2. If you dont wanna add white chocolate; skip it. Adjust the milk powder to 1 cup and add 1/2 tsp vanilla essence or some saffron. 3. White chocolate can also be replaced by dark/ milk chocolate or cocoa powder(mixed with 2tbsp milk)
