Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Gram flour/besan 2 cups
  2. sugar 1 cup
  3. Water 1 cup
  4. cardamom powder 1 tsp
  5. Oil or ghee for frying
  6. Yellow food color 1 pinch
  7. Cashew and almond chopped 2 tbsp


  1. Strain gram flour and make a smooth and runny mixture with help of water.
  2. Heat ghee in a wok, put 1 ladleful of gram flour mixture with help of strainer.
  3. Fry these boondies on medium flame, till crisp, remove from oil.
  4. Make all boondi like this.
  5. Add sugar and water in a pan and keep on high flame, make one thread syrup, add cardamom powder and yellow food color.
  6. Grind boondis in grinder jar, but don't grind over, make little boondi.
  7. Add these grind boondis and dry fruits in sugar syrup, mix properly.
  8. Make small laddoos from mixture, garnish with silver vark and serve.
