Ingredients to make Aloo Nazakat

  • potato medium sized 4
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • cottage cheese 1/2 cup
  • urad dal papad 2
  • coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  • salt as per taste
  • ginger garlic paste 2 spoon
  • Green chilli 2 chopped
  • chana dal 3 tbsp
  • Hung curd 1 cup
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Black salt 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chat masala 1 tsp

How to make Aloo Nazakat

  1. Peel potatoes, cut horizontal ly, scoop out flash and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, deep fry potatoes till red, remove from oil, keep aside.
  3. Fry papads in remaining oil and keep aside.
  4. Remove excess oil from pan. Take 2 tsp oil, add fry 1 spoon ginger garlic paste, then add potato flash, fry it, add salt. Switch off gas.
  5. Mix this potato flash with mashed cottage cheese, 1 tbsp coriander leaves, mashed papad, chat masala and green chilllies. Stuffing is ready.
  6. Dry roast chana dal till brown in a wok or tawa. Let it cool, grind into coarse powder.
  7. Take curd in a bowl, add grind chana dal, salt, black salt, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, chilli powder, remaining coriander leaves and remaining oil. Mix it properly, keep aside.
  8. Take fry potato, fill stuffing tightly, cover with curd mixture. Fill all potatoes and cover with curd mixture like this, keep it for one hour.
  9. Preheat microwave on 180 degree. Spread potatoes on aluminum foil in a baking tray, bake for 45 mins, till done.
  10. Serve hot as a side dish in lunch or dinner.
