Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 140 gms flour
  2. A pinch of salt
  3. 70 gms butter
  4. 3 tbsp cold water
  5. Thick/Hung yogurt/curd as required
  6. 1 cup diced Fresh fruits
  7. 1/2 cup castor sugar or as per taste


  1. For the pastry: preheat the oven to 190degree C.
  2. Sieve the flour & salt into a bowl. Rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips and mix well.
  3. Gradually add ice-cold water (approx. 3 tbsp) and knead well to make a stiff dough and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Roll out the pastry, and cut out the tarts to line tart tins, into a 100 mm. (4”) diameter circle with a cutter.
  5. Place the circle into a 75 mm. (3”) diameter tart case and press the circle gently around the sides of the tart case.
  6. Prick all over the tarts with the help of a fork. Arrange the tarts on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200ºC for approx. 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Cool the tart cases.Mix all the ingredients for filling and chill the filling.
  8. Fill the tarts with it just before serving. Add fruits to the thickened yogurt.
  9. Decorate the platter with fruit sauce and silver balls.
