Nachni Roll

Ingredients to make Nachni Roll

  • Nachni flour (ragi flour) ½ cup
  • Grated jaggery 3/4 cup
  • Khoya ½ cup
  • ghee 2 Tbsp
  • Chopped assorted nuts 2 tbsp
  • almonds for garnish

How to make Nachni Roll

  1. Heat Ghee in a kadai, add chopped nuts and saut for 1 minute.
  2. Add nachni flour(ragi flour) and roast it until cook for 8-10 minutes
  3. Switch off the flame, now add grated jaggery and stir well until the jaggery is completely melted.
  4. Add khoya, and keep stirring for a while.
  5. Remove the mixture on a plate, refrigerate it for 3-5 mins.
  6. Remove from refrigerator and shape them in rolls garnish it with chopped almonds.
