Chicken Manchow Soup

Ingredients to make Chicken Manchow Soup

  • Boneless chicken - 100 gm
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
  • Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chillies - 1 tsp
  • Chopped vegetables (capsicum, beans, bell peppers, carrots, spring onions) - 5 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 1/2 tsp
  • Fried noodles- few strands
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • chicken stock - 300 ml
  • salt as per taste
  • Refined oil as required

How to make Chicken Manchow Soup

  1. Heat a wok, add some oil to heat and a little sugar. Then add in the chopped ginger, garlic and chillies.
  2. Add the chicken and saute on a high flame, once it is a little brown in colour, add in the veggies, salt and fry it for another minute.
  3. Next, pour in the chicken stock and cook till it boils.
  4. Then add in the soy sauce, vinegar, corn flour dissolved in a little water or stock.
  5. Once thickened, pour it into a bowl and garnish it with fried noodles.
