A classic chinese dish stir fry beef with the goodness of black bean sauce that is sauteed with veggies.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Beef strips 250 grams
  2. Oil 4 tsp
  3. Carrot 1 small sized, thinly sliced
  4. Green beans 4-5, cut into 2-3 cm length
  5. Fresh Red chilli 1, thinly sliced
  6. 1 green capsicum, around 10 thin slices
  7. 1 red capsicum, around 10 thin slices
  8. Spring Onion 4, thinly sliced
  9. Garlic 2 cloves, crushed
  10. Black bean sauce 3 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Water 1/2 cup, to cook the beef


  1. First take a pressure cooker, add the beef strips with water and pressure cook for 10 mins.
  2. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, saute the beef till it's browned on all sides, this will take around 5 mins. Then remove and keep it aside.
  3. Heat the remaining oil, add the beans, carrots, capsicums, chilli and crushed garlic. Saute for about 5 mins.
  4. Add the beef, black bean sauce, salt to taste, spring onion, mix it well and saute on a high heat for about 5 mins. Then take it off the heat.
  5. Serve it with fried rice.
