Vanilla Mug Cake

Ingredients to make Vanilla Mug Cake

  • all purpose flour 3 tbsp
  • sugar 2 tsp
  • Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Milk 3 tsp
  • Condensed milk 1 tbsp
  • Red colour a drop
  • water 1 tsp
  • Canola oil 1 tsp
  • A pinch of sprinkles to garnish

How to make Vanilla Mug Cake

  1. Sift the flour, baking powder and baking soda together. Then add in the sugar and vanilla extract.
  2. Next add in the condensed milk, milk, water and red colour as well. Mix all these ingredients well together.
  3. Grease and dust a mug. Then pour the batter into it.
  4. Bake it in the microwave on a high heat for 1 minute. (Insert a toothpick to check, if it comes out clean, it is done.)
  5. Garnish with ice cream, sprinkles and serve.

Can we use olive oil or refined oil instead of canola oil?

i am not sure , because i ve always used either butter or canola oil for sweet cakes . But for savoury cakes definitely you can use olive oil

Yes rekha you can substitute eggs for condensed milk and you can replace canola oil with butter or any oil
