Veg Hakka Whole Wheat Noodles

Ingredients to make Veg Hakka Whole Wheat Noodles

  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 3-4 whole kashmiri chillies
  • 1 pack atta noodles
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped or sliced
  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 small carrot, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon dark soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon green chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli sauce
  • 1 small green capsicum, finely chopped or sliced

How to make Veg Hakka Whole Wheat Noodles

  1. Boil the noodles in 5 cups of water on a high flame for 10 minutes and keep it aside. Add salt and black pepper while boiling it.
  2. Strain and wash with ice cold water. Then keep it aside.
  3. Heat 4 tablespoon oil on a full flame to a smoking point. Then add the kashmiri chillies to it.
  4. Now turn off the gas. Cover and keep it aside to cool. Strain before using.
  5. In a thick bottomed pan, add in 1 tablespoon oil to heat, then add in the garlic.
  6. Add all the vegetables and stir fry on a high flame for 1 minute. Now add in the noodles.
  7. Add 2 teaspoon of chilli oil and all the sauces. Toss it well so as to incorporate all the flavors.
  8. Serve it hot.
