ABOUT Chicken Ghee Pepper Roast RECIPE

Simple easy and tasty chicken fry with ghee and flavored with pepper. if anyone at home has caught cold, we prepare pepper roast. Easy, spicy and it helps soothe cold.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 kg Chicken
  2. 2-3 tbsp Ghee
  3. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 2-3 tsp pepper powder (adjust as per your taste)
  5. 1 large Onion sliced
  6. 3 long green chillies slit vertically
  7. 2 sprigs curry leaves
  8. Salt

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken and cook it with salt, turmeric and 1 tsp pepper powder. Add very little water. Cook for 4 to 5 whistles.
  2. Heat ghee in a kadai, add sliced onions, 1/2 tsp pepper powder and saute until it turns brown.
  3. Add slit green chillies, curry leaves and saute for a minute in medium flame.
  4. Now add the cooked chicken and add additional 1 tsp/remaining pepper powder if you like it to be spicy. Fry it until it gets roasted.
