Idli Chat

Ingredients to make Idli Chat

  • Leftover or fresh idlis 12-16
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1 bowl of spring onion
  • 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp green chilli sauce
  • salt as per taste
  • coriander as per choice

How to make Idli Chat

  1. Soak the rice and urad dal separately for at least least 8 hours.
  2. After preparing idli cut it into small pieces and keep aside.
  3. Take a pan or kadhai. Heat a little oil and add onion and spring onion till it becomes golden. After that add chat masala red chilli sauce green chilli sauce and saute.
  4. Add pieces of idili and saute. Add salt to taste. Cook for 5 minutes and serve with spring onion and coriander leaves.
