Omelette Shawarma

Ingredients to make Omelette Shawarma

  • eggs 3
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder or chilli flakes a tbsp
  • Green chillies chopped a tbsp
  • oil about 2 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • coriander finely chopped 2 tbsp
  • onion finely chopped 1

How to make Omelette Shawarma

  1. Whisk everything up very well and make the omelette.
  2. For the assembling, cut one pitta bread into two.
  3. Garlic sauce as needed.
  4. Ketchup and french fries.
  5. Cucumber and lettuce.
  6. For the yoghurt garlic sauce- (you can make it in advance and store it in the refrigerator.)
  7. Garlic cloves about 6 to 8, yoghurt 100gm, salt a tsp, olive oil 1/2 cup and lemon juice a tbsp or more. Just blend all these and your sauce is ready.
  8. Pita bread-
  9. To make pitta bread mix together 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, Oil 2 tbsp, Instant yeast a tsp, Warm milk 1/2 cup and one tsp salt.
  10. Make a smooth dough with all of these ingredients and let the dough rest for an hour.
  11. You can punch down the dough after the stipulated time gets over and then divide them into 7 to 8 balls.
  12. Roll them into round discs.
  13. You can either bake them in an oven at 200 degrees C for 10 to 12 mins or make them on the tawa or griddle.
  14. Stack them up in the bread box and use as and when required.
  15. Cut them into half .
  16. Stuff with omlette and filling and serve.
