Badam Kheer

Ingredients to make Badam Kheer

  • 1/3 tin condensed milk
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1/2cup almonds
  • 1/3cup cashewnuts
  • 1/4 tsp almonds essence (optional)
  • Crushed almonds
  • Silver varak
  • Some strips kesar

How to make Badam Kheer

  1. Blanch almonds and remove skin.
  2. Soak almonds and cashewnuts in 1 I/2 cup of hot milk for 30 minutes.grind to a coarse paste using the some milk gradually.
  3. Bring the remaining milk to a boil, let it thicken on low flame for 10-15 minutes with continued stirring.
  4. Remove from heat, cool and add almond essence.
  5. Serve hot or cold garnished some crushed almonds and silver verak.

My Tip:

Add any dry fruits.
