ABOUT Ruby red Muffins RECIPE

A healthy, whole wheat muffin with the goodness of beetroot. Absolutely fuss free,easy to carry snack for all ages.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 1.5 cup
  2. sugar 1 cup
  3. Grated beetroot 1 cup
  4. eggs 2
  5. oil - 1/2 cup
  6. milk - 1/2 cup
  7. Baking Powder- 1 Tsp
  8. Vanilla essence- 1 tsp


  1. Sift flour and baking powder twice.
  2. Preheat oven at 180 degrees C
  3. Whisk eggs with sugar. Add oil and whisk again
  4. Add essence and milk
  5. Gently fold in the flour. Do not over mix now
  6. If hand blender is used , 30 secs should be enough to incorporate the flour
  7. Add grated beet root
  8. Fill in your lined muffin tray. Fill the moulds to 3/4 level. Gently tap to release air bubbles
  9. Bake at 180 degrees C for 35 mins. Check if done with a toothpick
