ABOUT Cheesy Suji Toast... RECIPE

Yummylicious tiffin box idea for the modern day kids. Cheese is the main attraction in this one and you will be surprised to see their snack boxes empty when they are back home. No fuss idea for the lovely kids out there by a loving mom.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Suji or semolina 1 cup
  2. Bread slices 15
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Curd 1 cup
  5. Water 1/2 cup
  6. Onion finely chopped large 1
  7. Capsicum finely chopped 1
  8. Mozzarella cheese 1 cup
  9. Oregano 1 tsp (optional)
  10. Chilli flakes a tbsp
  11. Dried parsley flakes a tbsp
  12. Coriander finely chopped a fistful
  13. Oil or melted butter as required to shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Combine suji, curd and water in a wide bowl.
  2. Add salt as per taste.
  3. Add the veggies now.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  6. Heat a non stick pan.
  7. Drizzle with some oil or butter.
  8. Spread two spoonfuls of the suji mix on the bread and shallow fry on low flame.
  9. Sprinkle chilli flakes on top.
  10. After done, add cheese as the last step.
  11. Sprinkle parsley flakes on cheese.
  12. Cover and cook just until it melts.
  13. Serve them hot with any sauce.
  14. Serve them as it is or pack up with little ketchup.
