Savoury suji toast

Ingredients to make Savoury suji toast

  • Suji : 2 cups
  • Rice flour : 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder to taste
  • Ajwain : 1/4 tsp
  • Oregano : 1/2 tsp
  • water as needed to make thin batter.
  • curd : 2 tbsp
  • Brown bread as needed, cut 1 slice into 4 pcs

How to make Savoury suji toast

  1. In a bowl mix suji, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, ajwain, oregano and curd. Make a smooth batter by adding water. Batter should be thin but not watery. Mix it well without any lumps.
  2. Heat tawa. Drizzle little oil on it. Lower the flame. Dip bread pieces in the suji batter and place on tawa. Cook both sides of the bread on medium high flame till it changes its color and gets properly cooked.
  3. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
