Badam Halwa

Ingredients to make Badam Halwa

  • badam One cup
  • Pasturised Milk One cup
  • sugar 1 1/4 cup
  • ghee 1/2 cup
  • saffron one pinch

How to make Badam Halwa

  1. Badam to be soaked in hot water for 5 to 10 min
  2. Peel off the skin and grind badam with milk
  3. Add the mixture in a pan and cook for 2 minutes on medium heat
  4. Add sugar and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes. Add ghee
  5. Safron should be mixed with little hot milk before putting to the pan
  6. Add saffron mixture after 10 minutes
  7. Transfer halwa to the serving dish

My Tip:

Consume after half an hour of cooking so that it sets well
