Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kasaundi 4-5 tsp
  2. Sugar 1 tsp
  3. salt to taste,
  4. chopped onions(2-3),
  5. ginger garlic paste 3-4tsp
  6. butter1/2 tsp
  7. 1cup water
  8. chicken cubes from 1/2 kg(essentially boneless, cut into small pieces)
  9. 2 dried red chillies
  10. olive oil 2tsp


  1. Marinate the chicken cubes with kasaundi, salt, ginger garlic paste and set aside for about half an hour.
  2. In a wok heat about 2 to 3 tsp of olive oil and about half tsp of butter, add dried red chilies(2to3). Add the chopped onions, add a little sugar or honey and fry until it caramelizes.
  3. Now add the marinated chicken, a little more kasaundi, half cup water and cover the wok and let it simmer for 10 to 15 mins.
  4. See if the chicken pieces have become tender and then serve hot with Indian bread.
