Air fried Momos

Ingredients to make Air fried Momos

  • For Dough
  • 1 cup Maida or all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt or as required
  • 1/4 cup water for kneading or as required
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • For stuffing
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt or as required
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 1/2 cup grated cabbage
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

How to make Air fried Momos

  1. Take a bowl. Add maida and salt. Mix well. Add oil and mix well . Add water gradually and knead the dough. Cover the dough and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  2. To make the stuffing heat oil in a pan. Add onion, green chili and stir for 3-4 minutes. Add green onion. Stir for few seconds more. Add cabbage and cook it on high flame for 3-4 minutes. Add salt and black pepper.
  3. Cook it on medium gas for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the gas. Keep aside to cool down
  4. We will prepare the momos after 20-25 minutes. Divide the dough into equal balls.
  5. Roll the ball into a circle evenly. You can use little dry flour if required.
  6. Place the 1 tbsp stuffing in the center. You can give any shape as your desire. I have given very simple shape which is very easy to make.
  7. Prepare all momos this way.
  8. Now heatup air fryer on 180 C for 5 minutes. Set timer to 5 minute and temperature 180 C.
  9. After 5 minutes put the momos in the airfryer. Set the temperature to 160 C and timer for 5 minutes. Then brush momos with little bit oil.
  10. Then again set temperature on 160 C and timer for 3 minutes.
  11. Now flip the momos and set the temperature 140 C and timer for 5 minutes.
  12. Your momos are ready . Serve hot with garlic chutney. You can check momos . If they are not ready yet, you can keep it in air fryer for more time.

My Tip:

You can add any vegetables of your choice for making more healthy and yummy. You can adjust spices as per your taste.
