Potato Cake

Ingredients to make Potato Cake

  • potato 200gm
  • maida 2cup
  • Baking powder 1tablespoon
  • Vanilla essence Few drops
  • sugar 1/2cup
  • butter 100gm
  • eggs 4
  • Cocoa powder 1tablespoon
  • coconut powder 1/2cup

How to make Potato Cake

  1. Boil the potatoes. Peel and mash them .
  2. In a bowl break eggs and mix butter whisk well untill creamy
  3. Now add sugar, and whisk it again .
  4. Now in another bowl mix maida ,cocoa powder,baking soda .
  5. Add maida mixture in creamy egg mixture and carefully fold them with cut and fold method.
  6. Now add mashed potato and coconut powder and mix well.
  7. Add vanilla essence.
  8. Now preheat the oven at 180 degree celcius .
  9. In a greased baking mould add the cake mixture and bake at 180 degree celcius for about 20minutes .
  10. Take it out cool on a wire rack and slice . Sprinkle some powdered sugar on it.
  11. And decorate with cherry.
