Chicken Keema Pattice

Ingredients to make Chicken Keema Pattice

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 250 grams chicken Keema
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 small onion
  • coriander leaves
  • 1 -2 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala (cloves, mace, nutmeg, cinnamon and black Cardamom)
  • 1tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder(optional)
  • 1-2 green chillies chopped( optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • oil to shallow or deep fry as per your choice

How to make Chicken Keema Pattice

  1. Boil potatoes , cool and peel them , keep aside
  2. Cook keema in pressure cooker with some salt and just 1 cup water (3- 4 whistles)
  3. Roast the keema well so that it becomes dry and add the spices
  4. Add finely chopped onions and coriander to keema, mix well
  5. Now mash potatoes well , add salt and make a dough
  6. Grease your palm to fill up Patties
  7. Make a hollow of potatoes dough in your palm and fill a teaspoon full of keema mix , seal the stuffing
  8. Pat lightly rolling in palm and apply bread crumbs on all the sides
  9. Heat oil in a shallow pan or deep kadai as preferred
  10. Make egg wash of the two eggs adding little salt
  11. Start dipping each patty in egg wash well and fry golden
  12. Serve hot with chutney or any sauce of choice
