Beetroot Cheese Balls

Ingredients to make Beetroot Cheese Balls

  • Beetroot 2 big
  • potatoes 3 boiled
  • Green chilli and ginger paste 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala as required
  • salt to taste
  • Processed cheese 1/2 cup
  • Mozzarrella cheese 1/2 cup
  • Breadcrumbs to coat
  • cornflour 2 tablespoon

How to make Beetroot Cheese Balls

  1. Boil beetroot ,grate and keep aside
  2. Boil and mash potatoes
  3. In a bowl mix boiled potatoes ,beetroot ,salt greenchilli and ginger paste ,pepper powder and red chilli powder also add salt ,mix well to a smooth dough
  4. Add cornflour or breadcrumbs to bind if needed
  5. Make a slurry of cornflour and water
  6. Make round balls and stuff the cheese mixture .
  7. Dip the balls in the cornflour slurry and coat with breadcrumbs .
  8. Keep the balls in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes .
  9. Heat the Appe pan and in each hole put few drops of oil
  10. Fry the balls until crisp
  11. Serve with ketchup or any dip

My Tip:

You can shallow fry these or even deep fry them. You can use cheddar cheese in place of mozzarella
