ABOUT Rose Apple Cake RECIPE

A delicious fruit cake with rose shaped apples as a topping

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Dry ingredients for cake-
  2. 1 cup and 2 tbsp maida
  3. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  5. 1 cup powder sugar
  6. Wet ingredients-
  7. 1/2 cup curd
  8. 1/4 cup Milk
  9. 2 tbsp oil
  10. Vanilla Essence
  11. For topping -
  12. Some apple slices
  13. chopped pistachio

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl. Mix dry ingredients except sugar
  2. Mix wet ingredients including sugar in another bowl.
  3. Then mix dry and liquid ingredients
  4. Grease a baking tin then sprinkle some maida and tap out excess maida.
  5. Then pour the batter in tin.
  6. bake it in preheated oven at 180 degrees Cfor 20 minutes or till it baked perfectly.
  7. Keep the cake to cool completely
  8. Now demould the cake.
  9. For topping -
  10. Cut thin slices of Apple.
  11. take a bowl add water ,lemon juice(1tbsp) and apple slices.
  12. Now on low flame Boil these thin Apple slices just for 3 to 5 minutes or till the slices are a little soft.
  13. Drain the water and cool down slices
  14. Spread whipped cream on cake
  15. Tightly roll apple slices on top of the cake to form rose petals.
  16. Garnish with some chopped pistachio
