Mint Pattice

Ingredients to make Mint Pattice

  • carrot -2
  • potatoes - 4
  • For Grinding:
  • mint Leaves - A Handful
  • green chillies - 5
  • garlic pearls - 5
  • coriander leaves - a handful
  • Other Ingredients :
  • Bread - 1 slice
  • turmeric Powder - a pinch
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Chat masala - 2 tsp
  • Rusk powder for dusting
  • jeera - 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Mint Pattice

  1. Wash, chop and boil carrot and potatoes. Drain the water and add it to a bowl.
  2. To the same bowl, add the ground paste, salt, bread slice, chat masala, garam masala, turmeric powder and jeera.
  3. Mash the contents well. Make equal sized balls.
  4. Flatten each ball and roll it on rusk powder and shallow fry in oil.
  5. Serve hot with coffee

My Tip:

Carrot and potato should be totally dry. If it is little moist, you can add a slice of bread.
