Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ripe mango (chopped) - 2 cups
  2. Mithai mate / Milkmaid 1 tin (400 grams)
  3. Double toned milk 1-1/2 cup
  4. Whipped cream 1 cup
  5. Almonds (crushed) 1 tablespoon for garnishing
  6. Brahmi badam sharbat as required for pouring on top (optional)


  1. Puree the chopped mangoes
  2. Add mithai mate and mix well. Now add milk and beat well. It will be very smooth, semi-thick mixture with a pouring consistency. Take it out in a bowl.
  3. Now whip the cream with the beater and beat till soft peaks are formed.
  4. Now mix whipped cream with mango mix, with the help of a spoon or a whisker till both are well combined.
  5. Now pour the mixer in the ice cream tin and cover with foil paper and keep in the freezer and let it set.
  6. After 3-4 hrs check if ice cream is semi set or not. Take it out of the freezer and beat it again in mixer till smooth and transfer it back in the same tin and garnish with dry fruits and cover it and keep it back in the freezer till set. I kept it overnight.
  7. Now before serving lunch or dinner take it out 1 hour early from the freezer and keep it in the fridge so that it becomes little soft.
  8. Put a scoop full of ice cream in small bowls garnish with dry fruits and pour brahmi badaam sharbat on top.
  9. Serve chilled.
