Ingredients to make Bread Poha

  • White bread 6 slices ,cut in to cubes .
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • onion 1/2 cup
  • peas 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilli 2 tbsp
  • Chopped capsicum 1/4 tbsp
  • Chopped carrot 1/4 tbsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 3/4 tbsp
  • A pinch of garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Garnish with mint leaves

How to make Bread Poha

  1. Heat the oil in a broad non stick pan and add the mustard seeds .
  2. When the seeds crackle ,add the onion and green chillies ,carrot and saute on a medium flame for 2 min.
  3. Add the capsicum and saute on a medium flame for 2 min.
  4. Add the bread peices ,salt and garam masala mix well ,and cook on a medium flame for 2 min. While stirring occasionally
  5. Switch off the flame , add the lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves.
  7. Serve hot .
