Ingredients to make Sizzling pockets

  • For dough-
  • 1) maida 1 cup
  • 2) salt 1/2 tsp
  • 3) oil 1 tsp
  • 4) water as required
  • For filling-
  • 1) besan 1/2 cup
  • 2) salt 1/2 tsp
  • 3) oil 2 tsp
  • 4) red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • 5) Tartari 1/2 tsp
  • oil for brushing

How to make Sizzling pockets

  1. 1) Take all the ingredients of the dough and knead soft dough with required water.
  2. 2) Take a kadhai. Add oil. Add besan and cook till it turns golden in colour.
  3. 3) Add salt, chilli powder and tartari. Turn off the gas.
  4. 4) Make a small thin roti. Place 1/2 tsp of filling . Cover with other roti. Seal it tightly. Make design with fork.
  5. 5) Make all pockets like this.
  6. 6) Preheat microwave at 200 degrees. Place all pockets in microwave safe tray. Brush with oil. Cook for 30-35 minutes or till golden in colour.
  7. 7) Enjoy with tea.

My Tip:

Dough should not be hard. It should be medium soft.
