Ingredients to make Kurukuri dosa(Instant)

  • Raw rice - 1 cup
  • urad dal - 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1 tbsp
  • mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • methi seeds - a few
  • Chopped curry leaves - a few
  • salt to taste
  • oil

How to make Kurukuri dosa(Instant)

  1. Soak raw rice and urad dal together for 2 hours. Grind to a coarse paste with rava like consistency.
  2. Add salt to the batter.
  3. Season with mustard, methi and curry leaves. Add grated coconut.
  4. Heat a pan. Drizzle a few drops of oil. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread in circular motion.
  5. Once roasted flip the dosa and roast the other side too.
  6. Serve hot with any chutney.

My Tip:

Donot grind to a smooth batter. The batter should not be watery. The consistency is that of a normal dosa batter but the batter should be a little coarse.
