  2. 1 cup rolled oats
  3. 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  4. 1 tsp grounded cinnamon
  5. 1/4 cup black raisins
  6. 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  7. 1 tbsp cold butter

  2. Use a spoon or melon baller to scoop out the core of each apple, leaving the bottom intact.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, black raisins and walnuts until well mixed.
  4. Stuff the oats mixture into the cavity of each apple and put one butter cube and some nuts on top.
  5. Place them in the crock-pot or baking tray.
  6. Pour the 1/2 glass of water into the crock-pot, around the apples.
  7. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  8. They will take about 45 minutes to one hour.
  9. If you do not have microwave then you could use cooker as well in that case, nestle the apples into the slow cooker in one layer, place the lid on top, and cook on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the apples are soft.(but this process is bit time consuming!)
  10. Serve this with a scoop of ice cream or low fat frozen vanilla yogurt!
