ABOUT Herbed Mushroom Omelette RECIPE

Who says health and weight loss should mean that the food is bland. Well, in this case, it isn't. Eggs and mushrooms,two most powerful medium of protien. Button mushroom is a low calorie food. Eggs are the inexpensive source of protien as we all know. Both are good sources of Selenium. Rich in Iron, this yummy breakfast is just perfect.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Eggs 2
  2. Button mushrooms sliced a cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Black pepper a tsp
  5. Oil a tbsp
  6. Parsley and coriander chopped 2 tbsp
  7. Onion chopped 1
  8. Garlic minced 1 tsp
  9. Tomato slices to serve along 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and saute the garlic and the onions a little.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms now.
  3. Now add in the beaten eggs with salt and pepper and some parsley. Reserve some for the final garnish.
  4. Cook on low flame until done.
  5. Serve it hot with slices of tomato.
