This is a yummy vegetable prepared with mung daal ki wadi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mung daal wadi-100 gms
  2. Potatoes-100 gms
  3. Brinjal-100 gms
  4. Tomatoes-1 big
  5. Onion-1 big
  6. Ginger garlc paste-1 spoon
  7. Dry masalas like turmeric,chilli powder,cumin powder,coriander powder and salt
  8. Coriander for garnishing


  1. First take oil and fry the wadi. If the size of wadi is big, you can break it into small pieces.Take out these fried Wadis in a bowl.
  2. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida to this oil. Then add long onion stripes and fry till brown. Add ginger garlic paste.Then add finely chopped tomatoes.
  3. Add all dry spices according to taste.
  4. Now add chopped potatoes and brinjal. Add salt and 1 cup of water. Close the cooker lid and take 6 whistles.
  5. Let it cool and release the pressure by itself. Your vegetable is ready. Garnish with green coriander and serve hot with rotis and rice.
