ABOUT Multi Grain Pizza RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup Ragi Flour (Finger Millet)
  3. 1/2 cup Oat flour
  4. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  5. 3/4 cup Luke Warm Water
  6. 1 teaspoon honey
  7. 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  8. Salt , to taste
  9. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  10. 1 tsp sugar
  11. Ingredients for the Topping-
  12. 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  13. 50 grams Mozzarella cheese , grated
  14. 1 onion thinly sliced
  15. 1 capsicum, thinly sliced
  16. 1 tomato thinly sliced
  17. Spinach leaves
  18. 1/4 cup cabbage sliced
  19. Olive oil
  20. 1 teaspoon Dried oregano , or pizza seasoning
  21. Salt and Pepper , as needed


  1. Take 3/4 cup of warm water, add in the sugar and yeast to the water and stir well. Keep aside for 10 mins to frothy.
  2. In a large bowl; add in the whole wheat flour, the oat flour, sesame seeds, and some salt to taste. Mix all the dry ingredients together
  3. Next slowly add in the yeast water and the honey and knead until all the flour is combined.
  4. Coat the dough with a tablespoon of olive oil. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place until doubled in size, about 2 hours.
  5. we will first preheat the oven to 180°C. Make sure the oven is preheated for at least 10 minutes. The intense heat helps bake the pizza perfectly
  6. Roll out the pizza dough using corn flour or wheat flour.
  7. You can roll the pizza thin or think based on your preference. Spread the pizza sauce on top of it.
  8. Next layer the pizza with the vegetables and finally the cheese
  9. Place the pizza back in the oven and bake until you notice the crust is beginning to brown and the cheese is bubbling. About 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to rest for a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.
  11. Sprinkle some oregano or pizza seasoning and serve.
