Ingredients to make Multi grain thepla

  • 1/2 cup makki ka atta
  • 1/2 cup bajra atta
  • 1/2 cup ragi ka atta
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli pd.
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 Tsp asafoetida
  • 1 small green chilli very finely chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh methi leaves very finely chopped
  • 2 tbspns curd
  • 2 tbspns milk

How to make Multi grain thepla

  1. Take all the flours in a bowl and mix .
  2. To this add all the other ingredients and mix well
  3. Make a soft dough .
  4. Add water if only required.
  5. Keep the dough covered for 10 minutes .
  6. Make equal sized balls .
  7. Roll each dough ball into a very thin and small chapati .
  8. Heat the tawa.
  9. Make the theplas using very little oil
  10. Serve hot or at room temperature.

My Tip:

While rolling dust the thepla with refined flour ( maida) instead of wheat flour to give a shine.
