Ingredients to make Crispy Crunchy Kaju (Cashewnuts)

  • 1 cup aata
  • 1 cup maida
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon mango powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black salt
  • oil (for fry)
  • 2 tablespoon oil and water (accordingly) for mixing in the aata when kneading it

How to make Crispy Crunchy Kaju (Cashewnuts)

  1. In a mixing bowl, take the atta, maida, salt and 2 table spoon oil. Rub the flour gently to make the mixture becomes soft.
  2. Add water, a little by little to make a tight dough. Now, keep it aside for 5-10 mins.
  3. Take medium portion of the dough and roll the balls.
  4. Take the balls and flatten it with the help of rolling pin.
  5. Cut into the Kaju shapes with the help of bottle cap. (You can use Ketchup bottle cap or any other small cap)
  6. Heat oil in the pan. When the oil becomes hot, reduce the flame and drop some kajus into the heated oil. Fry them in medium flame till it turns golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain it then sprinkle the black salt, mango powder, and pepper. Mix them properly.
  8. Now the crispy, crunchy Kajus are ready for serve!

My Tip:

Sprinkle all the masalas (black salt, mango powder, and pepper) right after the kajus are taken out from the oil otherwise the masalas won't stick on the kajus.
